Apple has announced 10.13 High Sierra will be released September 25th. Wacom is currently working on a new driver update to support the new operating system. The new Wacom driver will be ready by late October at the latest. Due to nature of the changes in High Sierra, the existing Wacom driver for 10.12 will not work. To continue to use your tablet uninterrupted, Wacom suggests not to upgrade to 10.13 until the new driver is released. Once released the driver update will appear in the Wacom Desktop Center and will be posted on the Wacom driver page.
I've been searching for a while for drivers for Graphire 4, but nothing seems to work. Driver 5.30-3 RC for mac os 10.6, 10.7 and 10.8. Wacom website; get old driver from 9.27.2011 for Win7 for Graphire 4. Before you install, right-click the icon and use the troubleshoot for compatibility option. Sep 25, 2017 - Just a note to NOT upgrade to High Sierra (Mac OS 10.13) just yet. Wacom is working on the updated drivers for their tablets. Please go here.

So, Mac users, don't update to Mac OS 10.13 High Sierra before Wacom releases the new driver in late October (and I would wait a bit to read user feedback reports on whether the new driver actually works!) Happily still using El Capitan here. What I don't understand is how it has taken Wacom so long to come up with a compatible driver for 10.13 High Sierra, because the beta version of 10.13 has been available to developers for months now. Unless Apple made some last minute unexpected change to the final release version of 10.13, which is making Wacom have to completely rewrite the code for the drivers. It's frustrating that every Mac OS update seems to break something.
I recall reading that High Sierra was intended as more as a 'bug fix and feature enhancement' minor update, not a major change. But who knows? At least Wacom gave some warning about the issue, even if it was only a few days before 10.13 was officially released.
